Extra-Curricular activities for students

St. Charles provides a wide variety of Extra-Curricular activities for students in all grades. Students are encouraged to participate in activities of interest to them.

St. Charles Day School and PCRF students can compete in a wide variety of CYO sports. Most sports provide opportunities for boys and girls from Grade 5 and older. Go to their website here!

Scouting is a chance for both Boys and Girls to learn skills that will last them a lifetime. St. Charles is fortunate to have both Boy Scout and Girls Scout troops in the parish.

The St. Charles Drama Club is open to all students in grades six through eight who are interested in acting, singing, playing instruments, set and prop design, and all those creative and organizational things necessary to produce a play. Drama Club meets weekly, and all members choose to work as “actors” or “behind the scenes” so that everyone is involved in working-toward some aspect of the final production. Because the producing of a play is such a team effort, everyone gets plenty of practice working with students of different grades and homerooms. Students also get a healthy dose of public speaking, especially voice projection and diction. Finally, students get to showcase all of their hard work in several live performances.

In addition to these groups, St. Charles Students can participate in the following Extra-Curricular activities:

·         Mass Servers

·         Youth Choir

·         Junior High Youth Group

·         Cantors

·         Student Banking

·         Computer Club

·         School Newspaper
